The 6th edition of Lodz Design Festival, one of the largest events of its kind devoted exclusively to the art of design, came to an end. This year’s edition of the festival achieved record-breaking numbers for attendees and exhibited items. It lasted for 11 days, during which it attracted over 45,000 participants, while a variety of exhibitions and events were held at more than 20 locations across Lodz (Poland). More than 1,100 objects by over 640 designers were presented in all festival exhibitions. Their work provoked discussion of new dimensions of social awareness: ecological, material, spatial and transportational. The Forum: Design & Architecture gave attendees the opportunity to participate in more than 35 lectures held by guests from all over the world. They addressed the topics related to the current changes in today’s world and new working methods used by designers.

Tegoroczna edycja Łódź Design Festival była rekordowa zarówno pod względem frekwencji jak i liczby prezentowanych obiektów. W trakcie 11 dni w festiwalu wzięło udział ponad 45 000 osób, a wystawy i wydarzenia organizowane były w przeszło 20 łódzkich lokalizacjach. W ramach wszystkich wystaw zaprezentowanych zostało ponad 1100 obiektów autorstwa przeszło 640 projektantów. Ich prace sprowokowały dyskusje nad nowymi wymiarami świadomości społecznej: ekologicznym, materiałowym, przestrzennym czy transportowym. Forum Design & Architektura dało możliwość uczestniczenia w ponad 35 wykładach, prowadzonych przez gości z całego świata. Prezentowali oni zagadnienia dotyczące zachodzących aktualnie zmian i nowych metod pracy projektantów.
